Tim Burgess is a self-taught Australian landscape photographer. The son of an Australian diplomat he returned to Australia in the early 2000's, after living in Hawaii and Japan for several years. Since that time he has lived in Cairns and Townsville, regularly exploring the North Queensland region and discovering the beauty that exists both along the coast and in the interior. He has a passion for exploring landscapes and capturing the sometimes fleeting moments of beauty that exist in the North Queensland region. Now based on Magnetic Island, he continues to supplement his images of Townsville and 'Maggie' with regular visits to one of the most beautiful parts of the world - Northern Queensland
